I can't believe the two guys actually got in the truck and went with the governor after he gunned down everybody.
I was like shoot him! Shoot him!
I was also thinking they've got a better set up in the town. Food, power, water, electricity, people can sleep in their own beds......since it is just the governor and two guys now the prison group should just be able to take over the town rather than have all of these people, 35-50 or so cooped up in the prison with nothing.
My wife was telling me how tense it was when Andrea was trying to get the plyers and seeing if Milton was dead. I didn't care if Andrea died or lived so that scene didn't bother me at all.
I agreed with Carl killing that boy. Before he shot him I was on edge because he seemed like he was up to something. They said DROP THE GUN and he was like, here I'll hand it to you and was just moving too slow and he seemed to be creeping toward Carl. It was too much of a risk to wait and if he had just dropped it instead of trying to give it to Carl he'd be alive. I didn't find it to be any 'moral' dilemna. Kid should have dropped the gun straight to the ground like he was told.
No Morgan. Maybe he is compelely off the show now.
So what becomes of the town now?
Dude, they are out in the country, in the middle of no where.....fields and fields and woods and open land and they've already killed 300-500 walkers at that prison. The governor's crew used a .50 machine gun to wipe out everything in site and yet.......still, after all of this there are walkers everywhere just aimlessly wondering the prison fence? Come on, that's just stupid. It seems like they've cleared out every walker for a good 10 miles radius. It is a show though, some of the writing is a little loose so I'm sure there will be and endless supply of walker that will always keep popping up right there at the prison. For every 1000 they kill another 500 will just magically pop up....................every walker in the state of Georgia is currently in route to the prison in the middle of no where.
This doesn't seem right without a Doogy "CHOMP".
Yes it does
Even those who arrange and design shrubberies are under considerable economic stress in this period in history.
Why does the prison have gravel roads?
That was the infuriating thing about her, the dumb mistakes she makes...Milton flat out told her, "YOU NEED TO HURRY" and still she wanted to jibber jab. I wanted her dead but when it happened I was like, "wow, she's dead." Michonne is just awesome, I mean her character is written well and the actress is really good.
I was totally for Carl doing what he did, that guy was up to something...I'd have shot him as he came running...he was trying to gun down your group. Maybe it's me, but I don't think Carl MEANT to shoot in cold blood like Herschel said, to me, Carl had no intentions of shooting, but as the guy crept closer, Carl just reacted...what he said to Rick about not taking the risk was one of the best scenes in all 3 seasons.
The very end was kinda ho-hum, but I understand why they went back to the prison instead of stay in Woodbury.
That was as close to a decent woman Milton ever got close to!
Beatles, Bill Withers, Citizen Cope, Jim James, Levon Helm, Lupe Fiasco, Waylon, Beastie Boys, Pink Floyd, Paul Westerberg, V-roys
Dale should have let her......
Ah, but then we would have no Michonne...Andrea's one contribution to the show.
I miss T-Dawg
So, this show kinda sucks now. That was a terribly anticlimactic "finale" to a very mediocre season. A microscopic step up from a terrible season 2. Season 1 was BRILLIANT and they have squandered all potential that this series had going for it with terrible writing, hokey acting, and a revolving door of showrunners.
I finally watched the finale. I think I'm done with this show now. I agree it sucks. I stuck it out this long because I'm such a fan of Robert Kirkman, but there is no way he has any influence over that show. The writing is SO terrible. If they had him writing the show would be much better.
He is one of the writers.
He came and spoke at UK this winter and he talked for a few minutes about the writing process, who does what, etc.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news
