They just don't play the schedule we play, so it's a big game for them, for that reason. It's a quality non-conference opponent
I'm LMAO at Morgan "Twinkle Toes" Newton stirring the pot.
All the latest news, opinion and commentary on the Big East Conference

LOL, anyone can talk sh!t behind a clipboard.

I don't know which is worse, talking smack about Kentucky Football or being just above .500 over the last 2 seasons with home losses to Marshall and East Florida Carolina Community Tech.
My motto for the season: Kentucky Football Sucks So Bad, Even Louisville Talks Smack!
"For Louisville, they don't have to go through the wear and tear that we go through week to week," Newton said. "So this is a big game for them because it's a non-conference game and it'll be competitive for them. You know, they'll end the season whatever and a couple losses. They just don't play the schedule we play, so it's a big game for them for that reason. It's a quality, non-conference opponent."
It took me multiple viewings of the video to confirm that it was, in fact, Newton talking. He was just a little hard to recognize standing upright.
Funniest comment i have heard in a while by mike hughes.
The 'wear and tear' comment referring to the very first game of the season leads us to the only possible conclusion:
Last year's schedule is the excuse for this year's devastation.
Is this what you guys tell Florida after your yearly butt-pounding?
"There is an eloquence in true enthusiasm."
Edgar Allen Poe
Please, at least be fair. Some years, its a butt pounding, but some years, its close!
Frankly, I'm surprised any UK fan cares enough to try and talk balls. As disaffected as I am, even if a miracle happens and UK manages to beat UofL, I won't care because I know the administration doesn't. It just means another 5 win season, perhaps 6 and a Music City Bowl. Big shittin' deal.
Disarming honesty always works to stop the madness. You do realize there is an emotional spillover from other sports, of course, so we expect you to take it like you did - like a man.
Your awesome - really - NC in basketball last season showed us some primo athletes playing at a higher level than they should this year. Had you gotten Shabazz, this conversation would be scary, too. While we miss the absurd arrogance of your basketball side, we do indeed relish your complete and laughable decades of failure at football.
Excuse us, please, but I am sure you understand.

That is funny, because it's true. We spent more time in their backfield than their running backs did.
Unfortunately the new board won't display the animated gif - you have to click the play button
Senore said- "UK's decades of failure in football."
You do realize that UK has more winning seasons in football than UofL, right? LOL. What an idiot.
SouthEastCard, the ability to go both ways on offense and defense is what we Kentucky fans love about Newton.
That video in your post of his interception against Western was amazing and if he were not running so fast backwards when he intercepted that ball, he probably would not have fallen down.
Just wish you could have posted more of the video to show the whole play.
Impressive play by Newton needless to say.

Yeah, he's pretty terrible, especially considering how highly touted he was out of high-school. It doesn't help, however, that the team around him is pretty poor, too.
Let's take a little trip back to the glory days of UK football in 1596, the year our lord, and remember when UK won football games.
Don't really know for sure, but I guess it's possible that You-uh-Kay also has more losing seasons than UofL.
Maybe? Look this up for us Bobby. I know it's considerably important to you.
Uk started playing football in 1881 and has always been a state school. Their overall record is 578-573-44 (50%)
UL started playing foortball in 1912 and became a state school in 1971 (?) , just before I started there. They were a private school before that. UL's overall record is 455-440-17 (51%).

You must go back to the 1880's to win this argument BROS. It's all you can do.
In our lifetimes (even if you start at 1950), UL has far and away more wins, league championships, and bowl games. (CollegeFootballReference.net)
They even have more wins over UK.
UK hasn't had a coach since Blanton Collier who had more than 3 winning seasons until Rich Brooks came along and knocked IU off the schedule and replace them with Shawnee High , or whoever it was, and then was fortunate enough for TJ to hire HWSNBN.
Perhaps you're the one who looks like the idiot. No, no perhaps about it.
LOL! Good one, Cedar!
I love Kentucky Football. Always have.
But if someone asked me if there was one image that could kind of sum up what it is like being a Kentucky Football Fan, not sure if there is a better one, for me anyway, than that Morgan Newton play. That is saying a alot as there have been so many "Oh shit, did we (Kentucky) just do that?"
The funniest part about this is he said all that - while everyday passing by a "BEAT LOUISVILLE" wall in the UK practice facility.
LOL, their players are as dumb as their fans.
I don't blame Morgan for being bitter. He probably wishes he went to a Big East school. Lord knows the guy doesn't have what it takes to win in the SEC.
Morgan talks pretty big for a third string quarterback. I would expect a little more humility from a kid that loses his spot to every new QB that comes in the program.
What's funny is you don't really understand that the "beat Louisville wall" is just showing respect for the governors cup rivalry series.
It's the only standing "official rivalry" game UK has (since they cancelled the official rivalry status with UT ... The "beer barrel")
If you look at a picture of the wall you'll see a "history of the governors cup" plaque.

Right. The Governers cup. The annual game with Louisville. A wall saying "Beat Louisville" that doesn't have anything to do with how big this game is. Only shows respect for the rivalry. Got it.
