I listened for 10 minutes and he admitted that he never thought Louisville would get in because of "academics". Of course, none of the conference realignment moves have anything to do with academics, as we all know. UL's academic profile improves every year and ratings are basically about endowments. He has always pumped his UVA degree, for obviously self-serving reasons. I will rant about UL negativity for a minute here: what earthly good does it do putting down your hometown school that drives so much education, investment, and civic pride? Even Cat fans enjoy the new facilities, the higher profile events and increased value of UL degrees. A LOT of people are employed there, did construction there, and graduated from there. I dont get the negativity-UL has come so far and is truly an inspirational story-the little engine that could-AND DID. Ramsey and Jurich are two of the finest leaders around. Appreciate them.

He often has Eric Crawford on, usually Mondays or early in the week, so I will scan through sometimes hoping to catch that interview but not the rest of his show. Unfortunately sometimes it's just him babbling so you have to wait to see if it is actual a guest he is talking to or just himself.
Last night the moment I tuned in (hoping for Crawford in light of the ACC news) LM was babbling about U of L's record over the last 5 years compared to U Conn's and how our football merits didn't measure up. As soon as I realized it was just him I changed the dial.
The guy is such a wet blanket. Instead of embracing a huge day in UofL sports and academia all he can do is throw dirt on it and come up with his negative spin. It really is a tragedy that he is the only option in this market for late night sports radio. He is just awful.
He's worried that his beloved Cavs will get a beat down in PAPAs every other year.

How did LM Poo-poo UL's move to the ACC tonight?
