Yes, I realize our ol doesn't go against the uofk ol...learned that a couple of days ago thank god....and I stand by my statement that UofL is better at every position....I've heard a few of you talk about your dl....your dl is average at best....the cobble dude is terrible...he's 5'9-10 and like 330.... All fat and no athleticism...no speed rush...your dl did very little against our ol last year and we didn't have 50% of the depth we do now and everyone has a lot of experience....on the flip side, our dl dominated your ol and your ol lost a lot of what it had (not much) and our dl simply got stronger...only losing Scruggs and salmon, who were both ok, but not great
Oh, if I could only find people like you when it comes time to wager.
I think Uk's only scores in this game come from either special teams or a Louisville turnover. I do not think that uk can generate any offense against a far superior defensive team in Louisville. Our defense will be miles ahead of uk's offense and they should be happy that it's the first game this season. My prediction is Louisville 24 uk 10 and I'm being generous with that 10 because, as I've stated, I don't think uk's offense can score against this defense. In what was our weakest link, defensive back, this year's version has four guys that will probably play on Sundays. Those are just the starters. Some of the second team guys back there may make the league, as well. The defense can and will get to uk's QB with 4 and it will be another nightmarish evening for whoever that may be. IF Joker were smart, he'd ride with the freshman so he'd have an excuse at the end of the year.
3 question Marks? All 3 of those guys either played or started games last year. And let me ask a question, we're you pretty happy with Mike Summers coached o-line? Cause that's who is coaching them...
We were never down 21 points to you, you were down 21 points to NC State. A Mike Archer coached football team. You needed onside kicks and trick plays to even get it back to with in a TD. You lost every game you played the last 2 years against teams with a winning record except WV.. Thank your lucky stars your league got raped of all the good teams. Do you still even have a BSC tie in?
Look at rationale of thinking.. You d line got better when 2 OK starters left and your guys hit the weights? Hmmm, so could the same be said for our o-linemen? Yes, you guys got after Newton last year but honestly.. He sucks.. I wrote a little piece on him already.
We will see if short fat cobble gets after Teddy.
Will you have the guts to come back here after the game and admit you were wrong?

What did you post on the predictions thread. I'll bet any of you on the insane scores you posted.
Scruggs and Salmon may have started some, but the other dudes we have played just as much, so that part is irrelevant....yes, the players coming back did hit the weights....that's not the point...the point is that almost everyone is back and the talent there is better this year than last. The big pass rushers last year were FR who played little to none against you dudes and came on late in the year
Yeah, i'm sure Bridgewater is real scared of cobble coming after him....the dude probably can't finish a 5 yard sprint, let alone catch anyone....he's just lucky is anyone runs right into him....they def can't run around him
Wrong about what.. Have I predicted a UK win? No I don't have a reason too. I'm just saying you guys are in awe of a 7-6 team, that didn't win it's bowl game, got beat by Marshall, and still start 50% or better freshman and sophomores on both sides of the ball.
Happy feet Newton will not be our QB. He made the pass game obsolete.
Hang on tight to those wins that Kragthorpe handed the kitties, uk will never see the like again in our life times.
UofL is going to absolutely SMASH uk this year. Now is the time for you to talk ridiculously, so get it all out now. You see, While the Ice Cream truck was delivering treats to the little Pool Party Joker was throwing, the Cards were crawling the entire length of the field on their elbows as a punishment for not getting something perfect. This is the fastest UofL team ever assembled and the staff has got them tough as nails to compliment it. Charlie Strong doesn't play the "buddy buddy" tea party with the coach sissy shit. Talk your smack now and after the blood bath stay in your lane.

Does UK have a reciever that can actually hold on to a ball this year or will they lead Division I football in dropped passes again this year?
Will the Joke decide on a quarterback before kickoff?
In 2012, Kentucky returns just about every player from it's worst performing positions in 2011(QB,WR,& DL), and almost nobody from it's best performing positions (LB & DB).
Your more experienced blewberries had a total of 14 yds rushing well into the 4th qtr last year. Our very young OL on the other hand had almost 200 yds rushing against your more experienced Dline. Now just how are they going to 'scare' us?
You are delusional, if you think Ukant has a prayer.
Great time to be a Cardinal, and getting better!
You mean like they did last year when we ran for 181 yards...just 6 yards shy of the highest rushing game we had all last year. We played all those lowly teams last year, but that mighty SEC D-Line we faced let us run right through them???
I think the Cards more than double up on the kitties. The Cards will keep the score relatively low by switching almost exclusively to the run game late in the third quarter with a 3 TD lead. UK scores their lone TD in the 4th.

My reply was to your comment of 24-21 predition and not knowing who would win. If you really believe this game will be within 3 points either way... I implore you to gets some balls, open up your wallet, and make a serious wager. I seriously doubt you're willing to wager on that prediction. If so, please let me know as I'll be more than happy to take your money. Blue money spends just the same as any other type.
Is a UK fan really on our board talking about fans being over excited??? How stupid is that? UK fans thought Rich Brooks turned the program around,,,and all he did was benefit from UL making a bad hire. UK was last in the SEC when Grandpa took over and UK was last in the SEC when he left. Only a UK fan would call that turning things around.
Its the typical UK gets better every spring and summer and all other teams stay the same or gets worse. It would be easier if UK fans just copied and pasted the same lame crap they spew every year.
I hate to be overly optimistic before the teams have played a game, but every word I hear about UK sounds so painfully similar to Krag's 2nd year. Faith with nothing to base it on, maybe just hope that things will magically take a giant leap forward and UK will stun the world this year. I'm just not buying it. This game feels like a monster beat down waiting to be played. I think even if the 2nd string plays late in the game, the Cards have enough depth to keep scoring and defending against a UK team that is lacking in talent, speed, and motivation.
uk should die of gonorrhea and rot in hell.
I feel like I hit a nerve or something. I was honestly asking you/UK fans a question as I have ZERO clue who you guys have got slated to fill those positions. I know no names and was hoping that you'd kinda fill me in...you know, with names, weights, games started/played in, or something
To your second paragraph, what do you want me to say?...Nanny-nanny boo boo? I know it's hard to keep up with when the BSC tie in's are no longer (as UK will never ever get the chance to even sniff one), but that is 2014 my friend.
Could not the same thing be said about the UL/UK game last year? The freshman of Louisville got relaxed at 24-10 and UK attempted a comeback?
Again, our rough start was from having a freshman QB. The turnaround from the first half to the second of last season was night and day. And please note that in both seasons as our head coach Strong has had a top 20 defense. With more talent and experience this season from the previous, there is no reason to think Uk will be able to put up as many points as they did in the game last season. You all lost a lot of veteran players and are replacing them with freshman. We beat your veteran laden team last year with our freshman.
I think we should give this guy a break. He's one of those fans that will support his team til death and will never admit that they will get the beatdown in a few weeks, even though it's inevitable.
