-Senorise won't be ready for spring practice but should be ready for the fall
-Kamran Joyer will likely be the starting Center next year
-Nacho will likely be the new Left Tackle next year (that fills out our OL and gets the best 5 on the field, IMO)
-Zeke Pike is apparently still with the team, contrary to what others have been saying on ITV. Watson says he will get a shot at TE along with Gerald Christian. No mention of Hubbel, strangely enough.
You mean all the 'insiders' were wrong about Pike?????? How can that be????
I think we have a good look at our 22 deep now:
Our depth is getting to be NASTY, guys like Brooks and Mount and Rogers and Mack coming off the bench

Thanks for the update, Much appreciated.
Hmmm, very interesting.
That's why until it comes out of the mouth of CCS, I don't believe what some anonymous person posts on ITV. I'm probably closer to the team than 3/4 of the insiders on here due to my job.
I think Joyer is one of our best 5 OL, and being a SR, I like that move.
I also like the move with Joyer.
I don't see Philon starting. I think it will either be Brooks or Rankins. Brooks started the Sugar Bowl.
Thank you for the info.
Good gosh we're an embarrassment of riches on offense. I just hope now our 2nd team OL comes along.

"My biggest challenge in the offseason is where do we put those guys and how do we use them?" Watson said. "That’s going to add another whole dimension to our offense that I’ve been wanting for two years. We’ve grown to a point, but we haven’t been able to grow all the way. With the addition of Gerald, and Zeke Pike -- the prospects of him playing that position and what he brings to the table -- it’s really exciting. We’ve got to work with it to see what it pans out to be."
What a great issue to have!
You definitely have jamon brown and Jake smith switched other than that is say thats a pretty good guess although my understanding is that quick will play on the outside at copelands spot do I would put eli in the slot
I actually do not like that move and that is not a knock against Kam who should get on the field somewhere, just not at center. Being the 'quarterback of the lineman' is something that is mastered over a career, think of Travis Leffew, Eric Wood, or Mario as recent examples here. A guy who comes in and plays the position for only one season can excel but then the next season his replacement has to settle in all over again. Wonder why a guy like Romano cannot take the position and hold it?
"Die Verbannten Kinder Evas"
I'm not worried about our 2 deep OL guys. At OT you probably have Aaron Epps and Ryan Mack, at guard I could definitely see Sid Anvoots as a guy who's part of the two deep, then your backup center is probably Mike Romano. I just can't think of who would be the other 2 deep guard, Petersen/Klusman?
Spring Game, be NOW. I am loving our basketball CARDS but am dying to know all about the football CARDS.
Manley will also be in the mix at T. Joyer can move to G when needed and Romano/Anvoots can get action at C. Remember, we're going to be blowing out most teams on our schedule. A lot of 4th quarters will be spent with backups in the game, so we'll get to develop some depth and get guys experience. That is the one positive to this crap schedule.
I know he hasn't proven himself but you didn't mention Nick Dawson! LOADED!
Think Dawson backs Preston Brown at MLB and will take that spot over in 2014 since Preston is a SR this coming year.
Travis Leffew did not play center, IIRC. The first center he played with was Jason Hilbert, and the second was Will Rabatin, who was an NAIA transfer from Gtown College. I thought Leffew protected the blind side with Spitz. I'll check my media guides later to be sure.
I'm curious to see Holliman as well. He's not mentioned either.
Leffew definitely played OT
Holliman will play a big role in next year's team. I didn't list all the impact players because we literally have so many of them. And obviously Watson didn't mention him because he's OC, he wouldn't be commenting on defensive players.
In 4 years Charlie has built some impressive depth in the program; when you have guys as talented as Gerod Holliman (a 4-star in HS) coming off the bench, you got something good going on.
A healthy team is key. Our defense was pretty nasty during that UF game. Shut down an all SEC running back, broke down a good offensive line. I don't remember how many times I saw Driskell on the turf. It seemed like quite a bit. I see a better pass rush next year, some beast linebackers, and a very good secondary. That secondary has to face what could possibly be the best wr corps in the NCAA. They play the best, they should be able to shut down quite a few receivers. Is it August 31st yet?
Joyer has played center though, hasn't he?
Dom Brown is not our starting RB for next year?
I think Dom and Senorise will get equal carries. They remind me of the Lendale White-Reggie Bush two headed monster that USC deployed several years ago. Thunder and lightning. It's a good problem to have.
If Perry is healthy, IMO, he's our best back. I may be splitting hairs a little, but I give him the nod due to his explosiveness. With that said, Brown and Lamb should get plenty of carries themselves.
