1)If Florida was disinterested in playing last night then Muschamp should be fired immediately.
2)If Florida was disinterested in playing last night then their football players laid down on their school, coaches, family, friends, and fans.
3)If Florida was disinterested in playing last night what does it say about their competitiveness and pride?
For that to be true, the coaching staff didn't do their jobs and their players are a bunch of losers without pride or determination. That was a BCS game. We were not playing them in the Kroger Bowl. Everyone knows damn well that they got their asses handed to them and no amount of embarrassing (and anyone who says these things SHOULD be embarrassed) bullshit is going to make me enjoy this less. These remarks by the media, UK fans, and anyone else goes to show the arrogance and stupidity that will be stooped to for people to save face in their own minds.
Florida got their ass beat. Bottom line. Just the way it is.

They can wipe their tears with this.
All I'm going to say is they are lucky, LUCKY we didn't hang half a hundred on them. "They s'posed to be $EC" indeed. I lost what little respect I had for Florida last night.

Yeah, if the Cards didn't dick up a couple of times, we damn near would have scored 50 points. I was also surprised at how many cheap shots their players took. The hard hits are what they are, it's football, but the punches, pushes, and leading with their heads was absurd. I was kind of shocked Bostic wasn't tossed after that hit on Bridgewater.
I said it in a different thread. They looked like a big brother who was used to getting whatever they wanted, and they didn't know how to handle being made to look like fools, so they did what any spoiled brat does, and that's act out.
This was a BCS game. And the friggin' mythical Sugar Bowl to boot!
Ain't no way they "didn't want to be there"! That's total BS.
Didn't want to get beat by Louisville? Certainly. But they absolutely wanted to win that game.
Nobody who watched it will say any differently, except people who are envious of, or hurt by, the outcome. I.E. UK fans envious of losing their last "trump card" in arguments with us and pundits who are covering their rear ends after dismissing Louisville's chances prior to the game. If you encounter anyone pumping this "...disinterested..." BS, simply ask yourself which of those two camps the loser belongs in!
Not sure where you are getting "disinterested" from but 100% of our fanbase on our board admits we got worked over. No excuses. The better team won and won convincingly. Congrats.
Hey, Gator, you know how "well" you guys get along with Miami and Florida State fans? We have similar relationships with a couple of fanbases.
That's the only place we'll hear it because everyone else knows what you just posted. (Not to rub it in)
the media is the biggest perps of the myth that your team didn't want to play in the sugar bowl, that and uk fans.
You could tell on the first defensive series that Florida came to play. Tried to knock Teddy out early and they were flying around making hard hits. The problem was they thought they could just match up a hat on a hat on both sides of the ball. They found out how wrong they were. The UF corners couldn't handle our wideouts and our d line could not be blocked by the Florida O line. They came to play but just got flat out beat.
ESPN - HERBSTREET AND POLLACK! HERBSTREET talked that crap at halftime and after the game. He is entitled to his opinion but that was just cover his ass bullshit excuses. Thank u for your comment and congrats

Our defense shut down pretty much everyone. The loss to UGA was due to 6 turnovers and they still had a chance to tie it up in the last minute. Plus a downhill power run game against UL's defense which is not good against the rush.
Gator this was one of your great previous posts you put on our board. All SEC RB carried the ball 9 times. please tell many how many down hill yards he got on us. But we aren't good on defense is that how I am to read your comment. Your defense couldn't stop a wet paper bag last night.
CJ, don't you know that the University of Florida likes to hand over games to us? They handed over the elite 8 game to us because they just "laid down" late in the 2nd half. And now, in the Sugar Bowl, they were "disinterested". We probably have never really "beaten" Florida in anything.
Yep. Those guys just show up to practice and grind in out in games all year just so that can hand games over to us. Thanks Florida!
Ha Ha!! Yeah, hell, it's depressing to know that the Cards have never won anything and that every victory was only because the other team didn't care.
I love when people say that shit. They can't even begin to understand how stupid it is. Just like the "overrated" chant and then storming the floor/field!
It's the freaking Sugar Bowl. How stuck up or arrogant would you have to be to not care about the Sugar Bowl? Most coaches would give their left nut to play in the Sugar Bowl. That is the worst excuse ever. Florida got owned. Period.
Every single ESPN analyst was saying Florida was disinterested or played like they were disinterested. The worst one who kept talking about this was Herbstreit.
I think the problem is more with ESPN laying down all the disinterested crap than any fans players from Florida.
Yep, I said that and then I came back and ate my crow in that same thread. I can admit I'm wrong and that we got outplayed. No need to be bitter about it, man.
Charlie loaded the box and made Driskel have to beat UL by the air. Genius plan and it worked. Teddy had his way with our secondary.
As for the media, just remember they have to say what they need to to get views. We all saw what happened on that field. UL was the much better team.
Yeah, cause a team totally tries to starts fights and run gimmick plays and onside kicks when they're not interested in playing..yeah. LOL
I found the disinterested Florida fan.
Yes Florida got their ass beat.
Yes Teddy is an all time great.
Yes Florida played like a disinterested team, with some individual players playing to improve draft stock.
Yes, Louisville tried to screw the pooch and failed to capitalize so many UF mistakes.
These things are all true. Doesn't matter in least as all anyone will remember is the spanking that we put on them.
The disinterested mantra is the "big boys" and media way of saying "How could someone outside the power teams actually win"?
It is a way for the media and power teams to save face.
Florida State was not too dosintersted to handle their business against NIU.
Oregon will not be too disinterested to beat an average/good Kansas State team (the one from the conference with Oklahoma and Texas)
Stanford was not too disinterested in beating Wisconsin (the only unranked BCS bowl participant).
Florida was not too disinterested in trying to lay down hard licks from the beginning of the game (see personal foul on our first pass play intended to send us a message). Nor was Florida so disintersted they were jawing with us on every play and camera spotlighting after each tackle.
As I said above, the fans say they were disinterested but each also predicted beating us by at least 2 touchdowns.
If they were too disinterested, why was it this year and not other years where they played non-championship games? Simple.
Florida thought they could beat us by using the "boo" technique. Our team smacked them in the mouth early and often and had them on their heels after the first 11 seconds.
Disinterested? Nahhh, just embarrassed on national tv.
A simple question: is your butt jealous of the amount crap coming from your mouth?
I bet the gaytor players about shit themselves when a 250 lb + DLINEMAN/END caught a pass and was running full speed towards the endzone. Beautiful play call, BJ has found his new calling
In a city full of Bluenecks, I still bleed RED!!!
You have to understand too that the media CONSTANTLY whines about the bowls. They want a big playoff format so bad they can't stand it. But not because they see any fairness in it like some will argue...but dollar signs. So they whine a juggernaut like Florida won't care about anything unless they are playing for a title every year.
I hope Notre Dame rolls Alabama.
In 1 week, 1 month, 1 year ......
All that will be remembered is U of L beat Florida. Louisville has now won in 3 of the BCS ubber bowl games = Orange, Sugar, Fiesta (pre-BCS). Now we need to figure out how to get in the Rose Bowl and the Championship game.
Is it really conceivable U of L could WIN every major bowl before uofk even gets tot heir first?
Really? Show some class like the rest of your fanbase. You coach was a "gaytor" for 9 years.
