FSU is getting a ton of love. A lot of people, including Herbie, predicts a NC for FSU. Seems they always drop a game or two they shouldn't. But, they will have one of the best defenses in CFB this season.
I would love to see the Cardinals play Florida State again. With no games played it is hard to predict any outcomes but I'll say this - another instant classic like the rain game would be fun.
The biggest game in Louisville Cardinal Football History. The Big Upset
If we're in the Orange Bowl against an ACC team, I hope its a 1-loss FSU squad ranked around 5th in the country. FSU seems to be "paper tigers" every year since they fell from elite status. I think we'd have a good chance to compete with and beat them, and it would be a win that carries a lot more weight than beating the likes of Wake Forest. Winning that game would really set the stage for a 2013 run like we had in 2006. Boise would play the role of West Virginia as the big conference game.
I want an SEC team. I don't care who. Although If we are playing in the orange bowl I won't be complaining about who we play.
Brad Edwards is an idiot Notre Dame can't play in the Russell Athletic bowl this year so if USF did win the Big East we go there.
Historically the Big East has had a pretty good record against the SEC during bowl games. I would want to punish someone in the all mighty SEC that thinks they can just run over a program like ours.
Orange Bowl is right were I would predict us as well. We definitely have a strong chance to win the BE.
Not sure I get the logic of picking USF over us.
We tied for the conference title last year. We get pretty much the entire starting line up back. WVU is gone, Cincy lost most of their skill players.
USF won 1 conference game last season (and we're not talking the SEC West here). We beat them at their place, they have to come here this season
It makes no logical sense.

USF would fit right in with the ACC, high unwarranted expectations and severly underperform every year. People are too enamored with their athletes and talent and forget about the coaching and headcases
