The Train Is Rolling!
There a thread over there about some players (football and basketball ) suspended but you couldn't read any of the post . Hope its their whole D line .
Hummm! Gator ,Taste like chicken , but takes a licking .
Dude says "What up Dog , GO CARDS !"
They really think we have no chance at all
What they don't realize is out passing attack is only #24 because of those two games teddy couldn't throw in , remember the southern miss game
No Respect ! I hope they along with their team keep thinking the same. I love when our guys play the underdog role.. GO CARDS!
Of all the $EC teams in the top 10, Florida is the worst. Forget their record, they couldn't win their own division and their QB is atrocious. Not just bad, not just terrible... terribad. My 10-year-old daughter has a better, more accurate arm. They will rely on hopes that we cannot control gaps and the edge. Do that and the Gators are sunk.
I love how they keep doubting us over and over.
Vegas has us as a 13.5 point underdog. Is it safe to say they don't respect us either?
The Florida fans are sad. They act like it's a privilege we get to play THE GATORS in the Sugar Bowl, and not that it's a privilege that we are playing in the Sugar Bowl. The game isn't about them, it's about being in a BCS bowl. I could have cared less if we played South Carolina, Georgia, Oklahoma, Oregon or whoever else in the Sugar Bowl. It's not about WHO we play, it's about the fact we are playing.
I saw it when I went to Orlando for vacation and went to the ESPN sports bar for the Florida vs Georgia game, and since then I couldn't stand Florida fans. They ran down EVERY other game they watched, talked up the Florida vs Georgia game like it was the Super Bowl, and that game was quite possibly the worst game I've watched this entire season (and the Gators lost). I somehow doubt we will have the same experience with UF fans that we had with NC State, Wake Forest, BYU, or Boise State fans. By far Boise and BYU have the best fan bases I've ever engaged with. Extremely nice and humble, even in defeat, but were very competitive during the game.
The Gators will probably be full of pompous, arrogant pricks who will do nothing other than talk s*** the whole game and try to flex their "superiority" over our lowly Cardinals. I hope we blow them out of the Sugar Bowl so we can tell them exactly where they can shove it while they cry on the ride back to Gainesville, just to add insult to injury.
There won't be many gator fans there. Like 40k UL fans to 6k Florida fans so its going to be like 6-1 in UL's favor in the fan base. I'm not sure if UF even travels that well. My guess is there's going to be more UL fans at this game.
I don't think it will be that lopsided. Florida has only sold 6500 or so through the University, but I guarantee they have sold a lot of tickets through stub hub, ticketmaster, etc.
The fact remains, we take better care of our school and our sponsors help us out more. U of L fans have bought at least 11,000-12,000 tickets through U of L (which almost doubles what Florida has done) and Papa Johns is sponsoring about a 1000 more tickets, and I'd guess most of those get sold. Who knows how many we have through external sources, but at least we aren't leaving U of L high and dry with about 9,000 tickets left in their allotment.
UofL has sold almost 15k of the 17.5k allotment. And that's with a lot of people looking elsewhere for tickets. We will be there and we will be loud. Our kids know what they are up against and will be ready for it.
We've sold 15k? Cool! I heard 11K which is why I went with that number, but I like 15K better.
Agreed. However, this isn't the UF fan's first tango at the Sugar Bowl. They know you can pretty much walk up and get tickets for pennies on the dollar right at gametime. Why pay $400 for a seat you could get for $50, especially for a game that's likely less desirable than another match-up might be? I'm all for supporting my school and everything too, but sometimes it just comes down to simple economics. I can't afford to do anything but the 600 level (thanks to Schnatter) at the school prices, if we're including travel and lodging too. If I could get 200-300 level tickets for $50 each, would I give the school $65 for nosebleeds?
The issue is why bowl agreements force that type of economic pressure on schools. How can Northern Illinois possibly sell all their allotment? They have more tickets to sell for the OB than they average in a regular HOME game.
How well does Florida travel? Assuming of course that Florida the state is not far. But I would guess that side of Florida probably has a lot of FSU, LSU, Ole Miss, Miss St fans. State wise does the state have more UF fans then say FSU and Miami? Those fan bases hate UF. I know several people who are other SEC school alums but are cheering the Cards because they hate the Gators.

Hey guys, Florida has beaten more top 10 teams than anyone in the nation. We are one bad game away from the SEC Championship etc. I am giving you respect and I think you can win but I think we deserve some respect too so just keep that in mind. Talking about us being the worst top 10 team is just absolutely wrong when we are one turnover away from going undefeated against one of the toughest schedules in the nation. No one in the nation would have run the table with our schedule. The UGA game also came at a bad time because of injuries and because we had just faced LSU and SCar which took a lot out of our guys. But no complaints here because that is the way it works. I'm not trying to make excuses. We didn't show up when we needed to and there is a huge chance that we won't show up like we need to in the Sugar Bowl, but you guys can't deny what this team has done. Just remember when you are begging for respect maybe you should give others that same courtesy because the best way to earn respect is to be respectful. Good luck in the future after the Sugar Bowl
So you are saying we are worse than USCe, LSU, and Texas A&M? Three teams we have beat? And saying Driskel is "terribad" might just be a touch too much hyperbole. He's got a completion percentage around 65% and has 11td to 3int. Our offense just doesn't pass much and really hasn't in years. UF also has the #1 passing efficiency defense in the NCAA. Look we all like and respect Strong but our resume speaks volumes: we play to our competition. Crush strong teams and sandbag against bad teams. Besides, doesn't matter what our fans think...the team will be ready. They earned their ranking.
Saying Florida is one of the worst top 10 teams is just wrong, their likely the second or third best team in the country.
"Get on board, or get out the way"- Vance Bedford
24-17 Cards win the Sugar Bowl. I respect Florida, but it is our time.
We are a power running team. Louisville rush defense isn't even ranked in the top 50. That spells trouble for the Cards. Defense always prevails.
See: 49ers @ Patriots, Monday Night Football
Edit: I definitely agree that defense generally prevails, though.

They didn't play Bama. They took awhile to figure out Bowling Green, barely beat La Lafeyette, and an awful Missouri team. What makes them so elite? They play Bama for the championship they lose. That's a fact. Florida wouldn't even be in this discussion if they would have beaten UGA. If they are so great why aren't they playing for the national championship? I guess those 6 turnovers that Florida committed against UGA was it. I like all these gator fans coming on here pumping their chests like they did something. Beat Georgia if you want to say you're elite. Hell beat Alabama and come back. You beat South Carolina, a garbage Tennessee team that should have never been ranked, LSU bet UF loses in Death Valley next year. I don't care what you did the fact of the matter is this. UF you lost to us in the Elite 8 and we're going to beat you in the Sugar Bowl. Last I checked our head coach recruited your elite defense. I bet he knows their weaknesses too. Talk your elite defense all you want Rutgers was ranked 4 in defense. It means nothing. Go back to your page and come up with the excuses you're going to use when Louisville wins. Because Florida is a really good team at whining when they lose. And they aren't second best that would be Alabama that the gators couldn't get to since well Georgia beat them.
What the hell was that?
Wow, I'm a Gator and Card fan but u obviously didn't watch a UF game this year. While the passing game was not the greatest, that's not what they rely on. Run the ball and great D. This is an incredible D this year.
JD does not throw a bad ball, they just don't through it around a lot. Also, this teams plays a full 60 min game...I just hope it's a great game!

Some of you guys sound like idiots talking about Florida like they're a bunch of bums. I love our team but we lost to UCONN and Syracuse...we have no right to say Florida is overrated or easily beatable.
