Teddy Bridgewater's path to Louisville wasn't a direct one, as he faced adversity on the field and at home. But through his mother's own perseverance, the Cardinals' quarterback learned the power of inspiration.
espn.go.comIt's such a great story. Watching Ms. Rose dancing in the aisles was probably one of my happiest moments of Saturday's game. Most of this stuff has been said already, but I could honestly eat up anything that's said about her and her son. It's truly a story fit for a movie, especially when you include all Eli Rogers has gone through too. It's an honor to have such awesome young men representing the university that I love.

wow - what a story - how can you read that and not shed a team or feel a big lump in your throat
My favorite line from Palmer, "When the lights come on and the bullets are flying.....that is when Teddy is at his best !"
.....shed a team?????
But seriously I totally agree DaVille.
I Love everything about our QB especially his mother, I shed a few tears when I saw her dancing during the usf game!!!!! We are so blessed to have our Coach convince him to come up to Louisville to make his name and his home!!
FlossY out...

Im a son of a survivor (and a mamas boy haha) and ill tell ya that you can't imagine what it's like to go through watching the woman who gave you your life fight to try to keep hers. Wonderful article. Never give up there is always hope.
