J.C. Shurburtt, 247Sports national recruiting director, gave Louisville Sports Live the scoop on Louisville's top football recruits, including James Quick and Artie Burns.

  • Mr.Hughes you made a statement about Corey Cooper playing games your quote (He just need to get pass some of the recruiting games he tends to play and narrow his list and really focus on a few schools.)I really beleive that was a statement you should not made about a kid that is going though this recruiting process.1st Louisville have not offer the kid.2nd let kid have fun in this process like all the other kids are having.

    The excerpt

“I really like Cooper, he’s a guy that can certainly go up and get the ball and make plays. He’s not particularly big or fast, but he makes plays and he’s the type of player that could thrive in the Louisville system," said Shurburtt. “I think he’d be a quality pick-up and could be a good fit at Louisville, he just needs to get past some of the recruiting games he tends to play and narrow his list and really focus on a few schools.”

Mr. Shurbrtt had plenty of praise for this young man and appears to offer a little well intended advice. IMHO

JC Shurburtt, the national recruiting of 247Sports, offered that assessment, not me. And you're correct, Cooper doesn't have an offer from Louisville.
