All kinds of chatter on Twitter that Quick told TOS today that the Bucks are his leader.. wtf?
"You're drunk again. No, I'm just exhausted 'cause I've been up all night drinking."
Hopefully just him putting out misinformation so it's a huge surprise and he looks like a hero by picking us... Maybe just wishful thinking on my part
Just doesn't make since with shelton Gibson, a 5 str WR looking like he's going to commit to OSU. And maybe even Cornelius elder.

The User Formally Known As UofL3223 GO CARDS!!!!!
I live in Columbus and my in-laws are big OSU fans. I hate OSU, but if i am a WR and one coach keeps stressing running the ball and stresses spreading it around, I would go with the guy who will chuck around the field. Meyer is known for getting the ball into the hands of playmakers regardless.
I want Quck bad, but if you are a WR, Kelly, Leach, Petrino and Meyer are what Chris Rock said a pork chop was to a starving man - your friend. Having said that, because Meyer runs a spread-option, it is hard getting top notch pocket passers to get to commit to Meyer. I hope he keeps this in mind.
"Strike like lightning. Leave the thunder for those who like a loud roar!"
Xml - Watson spreads it around more than most offensive coordinators also. There were so many games this year where 7+ receivers had catches. He's pretty much guaranteed an opportunity to show off in UofL's offense.
Seriously this is not a hard decision. I understand there is some allure to playing for OSU and a top notch coach like Meyer. But here are the facts:
1. They have a RB throwing the ball. Period. He is not RGIII, he is not Cam Newton. He is a RB.
2. 8 times this season he passed for less than 200 yards in a game. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8! That is unheard of. He had less than 212 yards passing in 10 games. He also had less than 100 yards passing in a game. Teddy also had a game like that, attached below is what the field looked like that day.
3. The last 5 games he didn't throw the ball more than 20 times in a game, and that was the case the season 7 times. In fact he only threw the ball more than 24 times 1 time this season.
4. They have several 4 and 5 star Athlete/WR in that program.
5. Click on the links and look at the stats between the two. Its almost shocking to actually read Miller's stats, they ARE THAT TERRIBLE.
OSU RB: 58%, 12.3/21.16, 3452 yards, 169ypg, 8.03 ypa, 15 TDs, http://espn.go.com/college-football/player/_/id/512838/braxton-miller
Teddy's: 69%, 22.25/32.25, 2039 yards, 288 ypg 8.92 ypa, 25 TDs http://espn.go.com/college-football/player/_/id/511614/teddy-bridgewater
Regardless of anything else, it is clear that as long as that is their QB you are going to be up against better talent and get less reps in a system that gives you 2/3 of the chances to actually have a pass thrown your way, the passes are so awful that you only have a chance to catch the ball 55% as much as if you were in our offense. You play in the big ten, the 4th best conference, really not a huge upgrade from the ACC. Stay home and be a hometown hero, and be a star, or take the chance you get lost in the muddle that is OSUs passing attack. At least you might get some free tattoos?

I don't care what is said on twitter. I will only care when it is announced. With the number of mind games that are played on twitter, you can't take anything for a fact.
What? Meyer runs a spread option offense based on having a QB that runs the ball. He doesn't run a pro style offense at all. Name 1 big time WR for the Bucks this year...I'll wait.
If he lead us on this whole time just to pick OSU at the end then that's a shady thing to do to the fans of the team you supposedly root for. He would be very much disliked in his own city. Don't think he will do that.
Or he's witnessed how some kids that have chose to go elsewhere get treated by our fans and he didn't want to hear crap until the very end. I don't know anything. I don't have any sources
Who went elsewhere and got treated poorly?
If we can't get the kids in our backyard after Charlie stay,s we go to the ACC and a trip to the Sugar Bowl then I don't know when we ever will.
Seems to me that he has been a drama king all throughout his recruitment stating every other week one team leads or another.
I say this is smoke to create suspense.
Just choose a school and go play.
Have you seen how much kelly and meyer actually run the ball?
He may choose OSU but not because of the offense
Matt I've been on message boards for the last 8 or so years TOS mainly. Poorly is the wrong word but pestered given grief or made to feel guilty for not staying home does happen.
As a St. X alum, if Trinity's "Big 3" of Quick, Hatcher, and White all go elsewhere...I have even more reason not to like the weeds. White is for sure not coming, and Hatcher is an extreme longshot at this point. What a joke if all 3 of them turn their back on the hometown school.
Just a kid being interviewed constantly about where he is going to school and everything he says is dissected.
This isn't true at all the cards have consistently stayed at the top of the list, even when interviewed right after his OSU visit he said the cards were still slightly ahead.
