Wow! My sources tell me that the surprise game is indeed in Dallas, but that it is against our brothers from Lexington. It turns out that Jerry Jones feels that bringing back Mark Stoops (he was once an assistant at the U of Houston) would be quite a draw. However, there is still a sticking point to be resolved, namely that SucK does not like to play us in the first week of the season, and Jerry Jones does not seem willing to move the date of the game to accomodate them. I will update you if I should hear anything more solid.
They're not my brothers.
That has to be the dumbest idea ever. We have a better chance of playing the New York Jets in China than UK in Dallas.
You or your source most likely made this up out of thin air.
I think it's a bad joke on the poster's part. Obviously that isn't happening.
Alabama at Dallas Stadium.
I'm sorry I am not following. I wasn't aware of anyone playing football in Lexington. Does Transy have a team?
Again, Bama played in Dallas this year against Michigan. I don't see the same school doing the same event in consecutive years.
Except they are already scheduled to play against Va Tech. As a previous poster pointed out, Va Tech is looking to get out of the game.
Paul Rodgers mentioned Bama in Dallas this morning on the Early Birds as the rumor
Wow the win is already paying big dividends.
