It seems that everybody's top projected threat to a Louisville Cardinals repeat is UK. UNC looks like they will get everybody back, so of course they will be heavily hyped as well. There are others that will be right there depending on some NBA Draft decisions, but its always most fun and controversial to discuss the UK matchup. Its still up in the air if they get Wiggins, but our roster is taking shape. Dieng leaves, Russ Smith stays. So, which team is better? How good are their freshmen really? I'm not going to give me take, because I haven't really seen any of their recruits play, nor have I actually seen our recruits other than highlights on youtube. I do know we return a lot of experienced national champion players with a lot of untapped upside.
Its speed vs size. Hard to win inside Rupp but next years louisville team should be a great battle if the cats get their freshman under control.
We'll be top 5 with Duke, Michigan State, Florida, and UK. Maybe UNC and the Cuse. It's no easy road.
Cory I think it all boils down to the man running the point. Siva and Dieng were the best passers on this team, they're gone. So Jones and or Rozier will need to be able to get guys like Chane, Montrezl, Wayne, and whoever is at the 5 involved in the game offensively.
I think Cuse goes backwards. MCW is gone. Triche graduates. Who else leaves for the NBA? Sutherland? Fair?
UK will be a true threat. Their incoming class is ridiculous. Julius randle and the Harrison twins alone make them a threat. But if unc ends up with Wiggins they surpass Uks class depending on who returns to that team
UK= Too many stars and not enough minutes. They'll need two or three basketballs in the game.
That whole "dream" class of their's looks like a bunch of prima donnas.

They are a bunch of prima Donnas. That could be their downfall. Andrew Harrison could end up being a cancer to that team than a big help. He is all about himself
UK's team might be the best team ever. Or they might be an NIT team again. Whatever it is I have no respect for how their program is run and really... how could you after seeing the way we accomplished our title?
All it could take are a couple of players getting jealous of another one and their season is in shambles. Also, make them shoot the 3.
That's a solid list. Michigan State and Florida will be really good teams.
I like our chances. There are not that many teams that really scare me. If Russ comes back, I am excited to see his passing improve as it did throughout the last month and half of the season.
UK will be good. But like someone said earlier, pack it in and make them beat you with the 3. Cats fans are excited bc they are talking about experience with Pythress and Cauley Stein coming back like Jones and Lamb. Jones and Lamb were much better players than those 2.
Harrison twins will be the downfall if anything. Friend of mine coached against them this year and said they are very very talented. Issue is mentally. THeir Dad is insane and yelling from the stands and they only pass to each other.
UK will be really good. One of the better overall classes in the last 10 years and they have the best out of that class. Also don't overlook that they have Will Cauley and Poythress back on the team with some experience. I expect them to be as good as they were last year, but also expect is to compete again.
