So sorry to hear this chapter of his life had to end so soon. Best of luck to Sid on the next chapter.
I hate to hear that.....but I guess the good news is that by not playing Sid has the best chance to accomplish a lot other things that may not have been possible. Gotta find that silver lining.
Hate to hear that, was really looking forward to see Sid develop under this staff and reach his dreams. You guys are a class act and wish nothing but the best for you. Glad he is staying at UL and hope he finds a role doing something he loves.
thanks for all your updates, they were must read info. So sorry to hear about Sid, but at least football got him a scholarship and I trust he will take advantage of it to the fullest. Godspeed.
Wow so sorry to hear that for Sid. Our prayers are out for Sid to make a full recovery. Your posts on here have been some of the best insights into what happens on the inside. Thanks and we hope Sid does well with whatever he decides to do after school.
All in God's plan. Trust me, when one door closes, three more open in its place. Take full advantage of every opportunity given and dream big!
Personally, I am more intrigued with Sid Anvoots' future now than I was before. Can't wait to see where he'll be or what he'll be doing in 8 years. I'll be watching and keeping up with him. Thanks.
Sid will always be a CARD!
Really hate to hear it too. I know how excited the parent and child can be about playing and making an impact in your 4 years. Really a cold slap in the face when it ends abruptly like this. An athletic career is so short anyway and then to have it taken away even earlier by injury. At least you all still have the high school memories, the what couldabeens in your mind and his future health.
God bless to Sid. However, I have no doubt that he will find success in one of many different paths in life that he will explore outside of playing football. We truly appreciate all of the contributions he and you have brought to the program and the city since his commitment here almost two years ago. I had the pleasure of meeting him and Joe Manley at a game last year, and it was clear from that brief encounter that your son is going to be successful in whatever he does based on his optimism and enthusiasm.
Again, thank you so much to you and him for being such great ambassadors for the university. I hope Sid continues to grow and flourish here in Louisville. And I also hope you will continue posting here from time to time - even if it's just to boast how much beer you consumed during a particular festive evening!
All the Best
I'd like to echo what the others have said. Best of luck to Sid!
That is such a shame! Manvoots you've been a great poster and I hope you will continue to post when you see fit. Please tell Sid that we all wish him nothing but success.
Well wishes top the entire Anvoots family
