QB Jacoby Brissett is transferring from UF. 4 or 5 schools were mentioned as possible destinations. Cards listed second. Kid was a big deal coming out HS.
Mike: I know it's early in process, but you hearing anything?
He played behind a very ordinary QB.
Don't know much about the kid but could he switch positions?
He was a very good basketball player in high school as well. I would say he could play any skill position he wanted to.
Sugar Bowl and Florida connections continuing to pay dividends for Louisville. Here is a link to his 247 profile. If he ends up here, what position would we look at playing him at?
Think only way is if he pays....with limited schollies, I don't see one going to him considering we just took a juco
I doubt he would be coming here as a QB.
So if someone transfers, would they count this year (the year their ineligible) or the following year (when they can actually see the field)?
If he's not good enough for the Gators he's not good enough for the Cards.
Tell that to our 3 UF transfers. ;)

Well...I bet Auburn was glad a "certain backup QB" transferred and when it was all said and done ended up in the Plains...in other words tell it to former Gator Backup QB Cam Newton.
Sometimes it is more likely a player doesn't fit the offense/defense.
1) This kid is no Cam Newton
2) I hope UL never stoops to the level of buying a player like Auburn did.
Brissett is no Newton. The coaches did not want Newton to leave, but could not play him in front of Tebow. If Brissett was half as good as Newton or Tebow, he would be starting.
You count as soon as you take a scholly. We can only give out a max of 85 in one year
According to most of what I read Newton had issues regarding theft, a stolen laptop and academic cheating. I am not sure the coaches really wanted him to stay.
you forgot the part of newton getting paid $200,000 to come to Auburn
