    Couldn't agree more. I'll never forget watching that - on a 13" black and white TV in my dad's kitchen. We were devastated. Probably my first memory of being just crushed by a sports outcome.

    Also, Wes Unseld's thighs are frightening. Good lord.

    Yeah , I was there , I think we were up 8 in the second half ,look we like would win then their coach threw a towel on the floor as we had a break away ,he got a " T " but it just change the game . Also remember Billy Thompson missing a wide open dunk and Charles Jones having to have oxygen . We had already beaten NC St. earlier in the year by 5 at Freedom Hall.

    Billy missing that "T" showed how immature he was as a player at that point of his career. There may not be one single game that was more disappointing in the annals of Cardinal B-ball than this one with the exception of the UCLA game.
