Harrison twins to announce this Thursday?

  • I wonder what the going rate for two top 5 twins are? Wonder if the Squid got some sort of a bulk discount for buying more than one? lol

    Actually it kind of does. He's basically saying that Mr. Harrison is making these statements knowing full well that his sons are committing to UK. He's hiding the cheating at UK by drawing attention to the cheating at Maryland. That would actually make some sense as to why he would be so blatant about it.

    But he was quoted as saying this by someone else. He later said "“Not one coach from anywhere has offered me anything. Kevin Plank has not called me about Under Armour and Maryland.”

    So maybe it is a smokescreen, or maybe he realized that he said something stupid.

    Bingo. It was decided long ago the twins were heading to UK and WWW/Nike made sure of that. The UA BS was simply a deflection on what was REALLY going on behind the scenes. Well played by UK/Nike/WWW. They have the system down pat...

  • Even though they didn't go to Maryland, isn't it illegal to accept gifts from a shoe company the way they basically openly admitted they were doing? Not only accepting, but asking for stuff?

    I don't think there are any direct quotes from the Harrison family themselves. There's a lot of people in the media making these statements. The Harrison's can deny everything.

    Anthony Davis all but admitted to taking $200,000 to play at Kentucky. If that doesn't get you in trouble then anything goes. Apparently the only way to get thrown off a team is do something like get a B- in a summer school class that requires a six week investigation to confirm.
