I'm with you 100%!
I know we're going to win and I honestly believe it's gonna be a double-digit victory for sure. A blow out is very possible but I wouldn't be surprised if the kittens actually give it more effort against us then any of their other previous games.
The video pretty much sums up this basketball game for the kitties. http://search.yahoo.com/r/_ylt=A0oG7t2f9clQTXYAw11x.9w4;_ylu=X3oDMTE0YmtidjY5BHNlYwNzcgRwb3MDMQRjb2xvA2FjMgR2dGlkA01PVVMxOV85OQ--/SIG=120e9ru86/EXP=1355441695/**http%3a//www.youtube.com/watch%3fv=Z1TxiVhrkZA

I think we finally have more talent than uk, but I wouldn't dare say it will be over after the first half. We are more than capable of going in too tight and shooting 12 percent. I think our defense may be the best it's been since Pitino has been here, but all the pressure will be on our players. I'm a die hard Cardinal, but I'm also real enough to say that if we don't beat them this season, I don't know when we will in the future.
Not that I do not want championship number three as much as anyone but that could turn out to be the silver lining of Calimari's Pay as You Go scheme. If the Cardinals had won a national championship last year what are the odds that at least one key player (I'm thinking at least Siva) is gone this year.
Not trying to make enemies, but your post was not an opinion. It was a diatribe that history does not back up:
"Just a little heads up. We are going to beat you like a circus animal on the 29th."
"This could be the worst beating cal has ever received as a coach ...."
An opinion would have been that you believe we have the talent this year to kick their butt! To that, I would agree.
Except I remember when we had a major talent advantage back in 2008-2009 (the year we were the number one overall seed in the NCAA). We played UK at home that year and we only won by 3 on a last second shot by Sosa.
We are apparently from two different generations. To me, trash talk is cheap and meaningless, especially when one's boasts defy what has recently transpired.
might want to retract that statement about over at half time
Cards should win easy but I cant say UK doesnt have talent. Goodwin, Noel, and Poythress are all on NBA mock draft top 10 lists. Anytime you have that you can win alot of games. I think they just have a chemistry issue (especially defense) to win this game.
Well, I hope every single man jack on their roster gets drafted. At the collegiate level - remember that?? - starting out each year with an entirely fresh, recycled group of freshmen is a task I really, really want to watch Calipari get saddled with.
He has perfected his formula now, so live with it. We get to watch when we decide to care.
"There is an eloquence in true enthusiasm."

They were talented and had Davis....that was the only reason they won.
Put Davis on any good team last year and they win. Don't give pUKe and DBbagCal too much credit. It was simply the best $200K ever spent.
Goodwin would start at the three for us.
Just so you know. The OP is a fan and not one our players.
As fans we will not actually have any factor in the outcome of the game.
Let's go ahead and get this out of the way because I don't want to be accused of being a troll. I enjoy watching Louisville play, but I'm more partial to UK because I grew up in Lexington. There's no hate for UL here, hopefully I am welcomed and not banned because of this. IMO, the game will be close in the first half, but UL experience and defensive pressure will open the game up in the second half. The only way UK pulls it off is, by a bad shooting day by the Cards.

Not a Troll, I come in peace!
Spot on letsroll!
I beleive my Cards will pull away in the second half after the cats play with a lot of energy in the first half and stay close. I see UK getting into foul trouble on their front line which will result in a lot of inside buckets for us...either that or Goodwin tries to take over on his own resulting in a lot of TOs or missed buckets and Cal has to pull him. That will open the flood gates for our D to really pressure the ball handlers and we begin to tire out them out. But if Louisville is even hitting at 40% for the game...it's curtains for the cats. The reason I believe this is because UK will not shoot over 40% against us and will turn the ball over at least 15 times. We score a ton of our points off turnovers too. The cats only hope is if the ball handlers can weather the storm and make this game a junky low scoring one.
