If Dieng is a first rounder, he's gone.
Mango better be hitting the weights real hard if he wants to keep Agau behind him. It looks like Agau has about 30 pounds on him right now.
As of today NBAdraft.net does not have Gorgs even in the top 60 picks
I hope Deing is gone. If he is, that means he finishes the season really strong. If he plays like he did the other night, youve gotta like our chances to cut down the nets.
Good. Since teams seem to have players play for 6 or 7 years -Steve Novak - I think G. Dieng should be our resident perpetual player. Give him 7 years.
A simple question: is your butt jealous of the amount crap coming from your mouth?
It's hard for someone to play a series of games like Gorgui did against Seton Hall. That's like saying, "If Luke Hancock plays every game like he did against Seton Hall we are amazing." Well, Hancock shot 100% on the day, no missed FG's, 3's, or FT's. Gorgui had a similar game only missing 2 shots and 3 FT's I believe.
Now, if Gorgui stays consistent from mid range, and plays the high post like he has been, he will make Wayne/Luke and Chane look like all star's because defenses will collapse HARD on him and open up the wing or the baseline. We know Gorgui can pass and find the open man, if he keeps hitting that 12-15 footer to compliment the rest of his game he will be so hard to stop.
Hasn't Harangody been at ND for like 12 years? I mean he's playing under the alias Jack Cooley right now who's in his 7 year of eligibility I believe.
That is basically what I am saying. I obviously don't expect him to go 10-11? from the field. If he keeps looking to score, and does so efficiently, then look out. Having a center that can consistently knock down that 15 foot jumper is huge, and will do wonders for our, sometimes stagnant, offense. I feel like he is finally putting it together, and getting over the wrist injury. Maybe I am biased, but I see no way he isn't a first round pick. The big guy is by far my favorite player on the team, and I wish nothing but the best for him.
Gorgi will graduate this Summer . . . I believe.
Getting past his wrist injury is most likely what is happening to him. This game was always there, it was just limited by his injury. You have to think, even though it's his non dominant hand it's still used virtually every time he touches the ball. When it's painful to use and it's still healing, you have to think how that affects what you do on the court. If he's not fully healed, he's close to it, and I could see his game really flourishing the rest of the season.
