In RUSS we trust!
Man, this brings back memories......didnt know Unseld was that huge
Every single time I see a pic of that Houston game I think "man, we had those guys BEAT!"
Couldn't agree more. I'll never forget watching that - on a 13" black and white TV in my dad's kitchen. We were devastated. Probably my first memory of being just crushed by a sports outcome.
Also, Wes Unseld's thighs are frightening. Good lord.

Yeah , I was there , I think we were up 8 in the second half ,look we like would win then their coach threw a towel on the floor as we had a break away ,he got a " T " but it just change the game . Also remember Billy Thompson missing a wide open dunk and Charles Jones having to have oxygen . We had already beaten NC St. earlier in the year by 5 at Freedom Hall.

Hummm! Gator ,Taste like chicken , but takes a licking .
Dude says "What up Dog , GO CARDS !"
We needed just one guy we could bring off the bench. Either that or lower altitude. That loss just sucked.
Billy missing that "T" showed how immature he was as a player at that point of his career. There may not be one single game that was more disappointing in the annals of Cardinal B-ball than this one with the exception of the UCLA game.
