Aaron Cosby will transfer from Seton Hall....Louisville might be in the mix. Any room at UL?
He'd be a nice addition to the team if he does indeed transfer. Liability on the FT line, but decent handles (Seton Hall was trying to convert him to the PG this year) and can score a bit.
I guess my only concern would be that we already have a pretty stacked back court for the foreseeable future. Our issues are up front IMO.
BE school to a BE school? Didn't think that was allowable even if we had any room. We are going to the ACC, but we are still currently in the BE. So unless he does it after next season, I don't see it happening.
Edit: Yeah, and what OhBannon said as well.

No room anyway so.............
He would have to sit out a year so by that time..yeh Big East to ACC.

He could walk on.
Besides the stacked backcourt, I can't see CRP taking a player from one of his disciples.
Great time to be a Cardinal, and getting better!
Nope. All the rooms are taken.
A simple question: is your butt jealous of the amount crap coming from your mouth?
Well, Pitino gave Willard Jonathan Huffman for his time at Iona. Seems like a fair trade IMO.
Preferred walk on maybe?
Assuming everyone stays, by that time he would get eligibility we'd be way to guard heavy anyway. Snider, Rozier, Gill, Ware and I guess you could count Wayne too. There would be no room for him...
Are we forgetting Shaqquan Aaron?
Aaron can play SF. I think Wayne's gone by the time he's here.
Unless he is a walk on I don't see him here because I don't think that we would tie up a scholarship for him. He is a good shooter but thats it. To me he would be like Chris Smith and I think that the guards we are bringing in are better than that.
You really think Rick is going to take a transfer from Willard?

I see him as a small forward..
I'm not saying he comes here or not, but if he's already transferring, why would Pitino not do it if he wants him? Wouldn't be as if he stole him from Willard. If dude is leaving anyway what's the dif
we have recruited over cosby besides no room for him
If he can't handle Willard then there is no way he can handle Pitino.

If he wants to come here, that's his option. He's a local kid, so tuition wouldn't be as bad. I don't see the PT there for him, but if he just really wants to play for his hometown school and win a national title, then maybe that is something he considers. I don't see it. Maybe you can ask Felton Spencer if he knows anything?
nice game by Cosby last night against 'Nova.
"Aaron Cosby scored a game-high 21 points for the Pirates. He also had six assists and five rebounds"
something tells me that if Cosby was here then he would find playing time. He is too talented not too. We just don't have room for him unless he wants to be a walk on. Even then it would be tight.
One of the great things about transfers is you essentially know what you're getting. We had a pretty good idea what we were getting when solid players like David Padgett, Luke Hancock and Chris Smith came on board. All have contributed nicely in UL's system. Padgett (elite 8), Smith (FF)...Hancock (?)
That is what puzzled me about Cal bringing in Harrow. The kid didn't do much at NC St so why did Cal think he could prosper at Uk? People say losing Noel cost their season but I say it was from Cal not bringing in a stud PG.
