2001 Louisville Cardinals hit 3 3's in 30 seconds to beat Tennessee
yeppers. hate to admit it but a buddy of mine who i took to the game and i were on our way out of freedom hall and had just made it to the exit from our sections when we reece hit the first 3. loudest i have ever heard freedom hall, EVER. place was deafening.
I never feel bad for fans that leave early...hope you learned your lesson.
Two of my buddies left early against Marquette, in the Miracle on Main. Needless to say, they regret it.
You should never leave a Marquette / Louisville game early. There is about a 50% chance of it coming down to a long three point basket, especially if it is in Milwaukee.
My Dad pulled me outta the chair and we left our section, caught the rest of the game in the hallway on a TV thanks Dad.
Yep. I was in the front row abotu 20 feet from Northern when he hit that 3. Unreal.
I'll never, EVER, forget that game. In a word, AMAZING.
I remember watching that game on my Honeymoon.
My favprite comeback was not this game.
It was this one - it doesn't end quick, lol.
This one takes 4 parts...............I never saw Pervis this mad, lol. Or Herbert.
1:06 left, 13 down, Louisville wins in a Karmic Justice of the ages.
South Carolina fans - so classy, lol.
The famous Louisville Cardinal/South Carolina fight!

My buddy and I were at the UT game, and I can remember him yelling at the fans as they were parading out "Don't forget about the 3 point shot!" That and the Freedom Hall finale were two of my all time favorite games there. As much as I enjoy the Yum, Freedom Hall is just so special, and that day against UT, it was just plain rocking. I think we stayed in our seats for about 15 minutes after the game celebrating with other fans. No one wanted to leave after that.
"Everyone has idiots... It's just a problem for the UK fanbase because there are so many of us." BROS
I bought tickets for my Dad and I for that game. We were in the nosebleed section on the side of the court. We were going to stay until the last second regardless of the outcome, as we always do, because, as my Dad would say, "you may miss a fight"!
After that game, my Dad decided he was going to become a season ticket holder. Currently, he has great tickets for football and basketball. What a difference a game makes!!
He wasn't at the South Carolina game by any chance?
I loved games at freedom hall. Wish my son was old enough to had experienced it. The Cuse game will be a memory ill never forget and what a way to go out. First game I ever tailgater hours before in the parking lot.
