That's not true. Plenty of undersized players play in the NBA. That doesn't mean Chane will leave or won't, but size can be overrated. I think Chane has plenty of ability to play in the NBA but he has to become more consistent. He showed ability to handle the ball and pass it against UCONN.
I see your point, but it doesn't matter. Chane is gone because he wants to go. He said he almost went last year and everybody knew he wasn't ready then.
Like bezzle said. Chane's gone. Even Pitino said it.
Yep - leave it to the store owned by a UK fan to come up with this. This wasn't done by a UofL fan, but keep spinning. It's the same exact design as the UK shirt. No thanks.
I've been saying that for years. Everyone wants to believe a player is going or staying based upon some shit that doesn't matter to the player. Behanan wants to play at the next level, so don't be surprised if he bolts, regardless whether any of us think he's ready, too short, or whatever.
I said several times during Samardo's last year that I thought he would leave and all I heard was "He isn't ready! No way he leaves." Hell I had people mad at me for even suggesting it. Ready doesn't have a damn thing to do with it in most cases.
All that said, it doesn't mean that someone is wrong for saying a player isn't ready, but it doesn't always work into the equation, because every player thinks they will make it.

I actually think Chane will be OK. Maybe not right off but he'll be fine in the NBA.
That's the nonsense that UK fans are going through right now, suggesting that Goodwin, Poythress or even Noel would stay another year, because none of them are NBA ready yet.
A) they're a factory - do you think they're gonna hang out and not start next year over the incoming "stars"?
B) Does the incoming class want to sit on the pine for a year to let the other players shine?
No and no. If Chane wants to go, he's gonna go - and once he develops a jumper, he's gonna be really good if he puts as much effort into getting rebounds in the NBA as he does trying to get tail on campus...lol
