Actually I think you were thinking of Devan Downey.
The funny part is, they were ranked #1 on January 25. On January 26, they promptly turn around and got beat by South Carolina 68-62. So those t-shirts were good for only one week.
I wanna laugh like you're telling a joke. But, sadly, I know you are recounting a verbatim transcript of an actual "conversation" with a Cayut fan.
Didn't Quintin Snider hang like 30+ on those twins a couple months back?
Edit: he scored 28, six rebs and six assists.

I like our incoming class guards chances against the twins. If Russ comes back, along with Ware, I like them a whole lot.
These are exciting times to be a Card fan. Tell everybody you know, it's Cardinal time! Go Cards!!!
Cards 32, Cats 14
First they had to watch us crush one of those unbeatable SEC teams they are always telling us about in a bowl they will never have a chance in hell to be in. Then they had to watch us beat them on the hardwood on the way to a number 1 ranking and becoming the favorite for the NCAA title according to many. It's tough times for UK fans right now. I did enjoy watching them make that Texas A&M player look like Michael Jordan in front of an arena filled with UK fans. They should get down on their hands and knees to thank the basketball Gods that they didn't lose to a terrible Vandy team like they should have.
We are number one WITHOUT any paid players from www.
Suck it lessingtown.
Speaking of weak schedules...
Lachlan said yesterday morning that the SEC is the worst power conference in basketball in the last 20 years and that alone will get UK in the tournament. That they will make it in spite of themselves.
Had to laugh.
Beatles, Bill Withers, Citizen Cope, Jim James, Levon Helm, Lupe Fiasco, Waylon, Beastie Boys, Pink Floyd, Paul Westerberg, V-roys
LOL...you just called the SEC a power conference.
I'm actually getting women's basketball smack.
Don't forget that we beat Florida in football on our first try while they've lost to them every year since 1987. That's gotta sting.
I actually think that's why they might not make it. They really only have 3 chances in the regular season left to get a true quality win (two against Florida and one against Missouri), and plenty more chances for bad losses. The good news for them is that those three games aren't until mid-February, so they have a few weeks to improve.
The only person UK could get that I would truly worry about would be if they land Andrew Wiggins. Wiggins is quite possibly one of THE best basketball players I've seen (from watching some games and his highlights) coming out of high school since Lebron. In fact, if anyone was as ready as Lebron to make the jump to the pros out of high school, it's Andrew Wiggins. That kid is the real deal and is something EXTREMELY special. That said, I'm pretty sure he will be going to FSU anyway so we'll have to worry about him on another team, but not UK.
I wasn't super impressed with the Harrison twins. They play well together, but they know each other so well (obviously) that they know how to feed off each other. How do they play individually? They're good players, but I don't think they are an unstoppable force like some people make them out to be.
The other player (if they sign him) who could cause us problems is Julius Randle. He has outside game capability at the 4 and if he pulls Chane/Trez outside I can see him giving us problems. But, that is only IF they sign Randle as he's still not committed anywhere.
As long as we don't lose more than 1 player among Chane, Wayne, or Gorgui, I still like our chances to be a better team than UK next year.
I think they stink it up and suffer double digit losses this year but because of desperation, they pull out the SEC tournament and squeak into the NCAA with a steller double digit seeding. I hate to give them any cred at all but I see this pathetic scenario playing out only because they will be on death's door hoping to get into the tournament.
I'd rather see them get bounced in the first round of the SEC tournament though and head to the NIT.
Let them talk! Enjoy the ride, my friends! Our stock is sky high and still rising in every sport -- plus we are a national title contender in the big two, which are heights that UK will very likely never enjoy.

Don't forget the 17-6 barnburner the baseball team put on them. Two Tds and a field goal in baseball is pretty pathetic. UK was ranked too. Like they just put ole noodle arm Jenkins out there and threw lobs over home plate. We have excelled in more than one sport while UK sits around and says we got basketball. I went to a soccer game at UL that was standing room only. When did UK have that again? Good you have bball should we give you a cookie?
I agree with your Harrison twins assessment. Their biggest advantage is their size for their position, but they do not play defense... at all. And they are more scorers instead of shooters... if that makes sense. They have a little guy on their team that is a like a mosquito on D (he's fun to watch but I don't know his name) so he does all the work. I don't know anything about Randle. Wiggins is great, and might be the best player since Lebron, but he isn't Lebron. Lebron could, and can, play 4 positions and even play center depending on the opponent. And Lebron is a stat stuffer and does everything well. Wiggins is more of a freak athlete. He isn't a knock down outside shooter but he can get his points. He will be dangerous, but I don't care whether or not he goes to UK. I fully believe our team will be awesome again next year and will be able to beat anybody.
They will not be that much better in Feb. You can't fix a lifetime of laziness and selfishness from November to Feb.
They are going to the NIT. They would have to either win 2 out of 3 of their Florida Mizz games (and if Mizz keeps losing, that might not help either) or win the SEC tournament.. and that's not gonna happen either. They are too lazy to play that many good games that many days in a row.
Gee! I wonder how that would work possibly.
I guess you could make a known Nike runner your agent. Thus 'legally' you can give him as large of a percentage of your contract as you want. That lil' bag man could then pay any and all recruits he desired, and bind them over to your team.
But what might be some of the signs of this type arrangement?
>> Could it be your lil' bag man slinking around high gyms of top players, who as an agent, he is not permitted to have any dealings with?
>> Could it be your lil' bag man in the company of multiple of your recruits at summer all-star games, sitting with your recruits, while thumbing his nose at NCAA reps present?
>> Could it be that lil' bag man showing up at a game where your top recruit is playing and being seen with the recruit while you are in the gym?
>> Could it be that same recruit committing to your program the following week?
>> Could it be your lil' bag man sitting behind the bench during your games?
>> Could it be the bag man, along with the President of the company he has been long rumored to be a runner for, dry humping those same recruits 5 months later, in your locker room, following big wins?
Sorry I slip into these fantasies occassionally - I'm certain that such a scenario is not possible, with our ever vigilant NCAA!

Great time to be a Cardinal, and getting better!
The irony of that statement given UK's current ranking is priceless
Completely agree about our team being extremely good next season. We lose a lot with Siva graduating, but I feel like the combination of Jones, Rozier, and Gill will make up for what we lose. I wonder how Agau will fit into the system next year, and my honest opinion is he will get little to no play time, especially if Chane AND Montrezl are here next season. I'm anticipating Chane to stay another year, but you never know. The only concern I have next season for us is if we lose Gorgui. I know Mathieng is slated to be a good big who's athletic, solid on defense, and runs the floor better than Gorgui... but he's not Gorgui. We don't know what we will get out of him until we see him, so that unknown variable could be problematic.
Regardless, if Gorgui does leave and Mathieng isn't ready, I'd say we should keep SVT around to be a bruiser, and bring him or Price in when we need a big lineup, but primarily run a small lineup with Jones, Russ, Wayne, Chane, and Montrezl as your starting 5. Then you have Ware, Rozier, Gill, and Hancock coming off the bench for your 1-3, and SVT/Price coming in to give minutes at the 4/5. This lineup is only under the possibility of Mathieng not being game ready, but if Mathieng is game ready and can step into Gorgui's place and do well, then it makes our team that much better.
Looks like UofL fans are just as crazy as UK fans... they make T-shirts for anything
The #1 spot has come back home! Celebrate this historic moment with our ! It sure feels good being back on top! 100% Cotton.
Chane is gone.
Our starting 5 next year will probably look like this:
With guys like Akoy, Anton Gill, and Rozier coming off the bench...that's a solid, solid, SOLID lineup. If Russ goes pro after this year (a distinct possibility), I see Gill taking the 2 guard slot. Hopefully Gorgs returns for his senior season, in which case I think we have another legit Final Four caliber team.
Some may say Luke will start over Wayne but if that's the case, something is wrong

UK fans make a new t-shirt for each of Calipari's successful bowel movements.
Where is he going? What NBA team will draft a guy under 6'8" that has no jumper and can't handle the ball? Chane is not going anywhere. He is a PF in a SF body. The only worse thing for a basketball player is to be a SG in a PG body. When you are too small for your position you don't make it in the NBA.
