Wasn't enough time.
What's up, cards? Pretty entertaining game. I'm not too worried for you guys, though.
So now all of a sudden Siva can't get into the lane? If that's true it's going to be a long game
Russ has 2 right?
Still think we come out suffocating second half
If he went from inbounds there would have been
He can get into the lane but they closed that side down and the shot clock was off. He had no where to go and no time to set up a play.
He couldn't get in the lane the whole 1st half. They are packing it in and daring us to take the three. He can't just barrel in there.
I get the feeling Rick is holding back. Maybe that is just hope.
Yelp, he walked up the court.
Could be the rope a dope sandbag. He is a HOF'er, so who knows
I wouldn't say that. Russ got in and drew some fouls. Siva got in and made some poor decisions. But on that last play W,St. collapsed on that side and closed the lanes off. No where to go and no time to set something up. HE took the open jumper. If he hits, we are saying he has balls of steel instead of questioning it.
Yup. Just not a good ahooting half. I still like our chances.
Bottom line here guys is Siva knocks down half the shots he has taken and Russ hits 3 of those 4 freebies and Blackshear gets 1 easy oop dunk..UL is up 8 or 10 points. Thats pretty much it...we need to quit worrying about fouls and play up tempo ball.
Plus I would like to see Dieng around the bucket a few times in the half court offense..the high pick and roll isn't working..try something different.
I get the opposite feeling. I think he overthought it; let our guys play. We played pretty conservative in the first half. Wichita St only had 4 turnovers. When is the last time that has happened?
I think so too. Zone to keep Peyton and Russ rested and out of foul trouble. No trapping press for the same reason. When we pressed hard the few times we did it they had some trouble.
We turn it up either at the start or the under 16 minute mark in the 2nd half.
Except he didn't and he's 0 for 4. I'll take a Siva drive into traffic in the bonus over a Siva 3 every time
I'm sure Richard has some advice, Rick will listen. Always good to have multiple eyes out there.
See what we did to Duke at 42-42
Okay, down 1 and we played like a monkey f*cking a football.
We have a HOF coach and 2 of the best guards in the country. We have come back from farther behind than this.
Not an idea scenario but it is what we have. Rick sandbagging and Russ is gaining confidence. Dieng is owning the interior next to scoring but he is capable of going off and definitely capable of controlling a game.
We got this.
Because they didn't want Wichita St to have another shot. Better to miss and have the time run out than to miss early and let Wichita St. go up by 3 or 4.

This ^^^Rick I think is too worried about foul trouble..plus Harrell needs to play the whole half.
Why would you drive into traffic in the closing seconds knowing most refs don't bail you out in that situation?
Play Angry = Energy
These guys haven't seen our Cards play enough have they...Time too turn on the after burners.
You could see Rick yelling one ahot one shot
