I noticed a lot of UL fans in Nashville tonight. They were great, especially during the "beat uk" chant at the end!
Looked and sounded great on TV. The explosion on Russ' dunk was fantastic.
I was surprised to hear that announced crowd at just 10,000 or so. Sounded much bigger.
BCS win, Women's Final 4/National runner-up, Men's Final 4/National title, trip to College World Series. Excellence like no other before.

It had to be bigger. About 50/50 UofL WKU with your usual blue douche sprinkled here and there. Saw one get knocked out pregame.
Saw some blue fans down here too...wtf ? Wish I saw the knockout.
? details please.
No real details to be had. A Cayut fan was acting like a drunk d1ck and was looking for a fight, a equally drunk UofL fan obliged him and was way more than the guy bargained for.
Sounds about right, was guessing 10,000 to 12,000 and the crowd was not 50/50 , much more UofL. I am guessing we won't be playing there again, since it was no where near a sellout. Had to be money loser.
What was the motivation anyways? Was this part of a deal to increase exposure or just set up for two games at the Yum? Two Kentucky teams playing in a neighboring state does seem odd.
UofL won't agree to a 4 year home-and-home contract with WKU (Nor should we, IMO).
In the 4 years of the contract, we play in Louisville twice, BG once, and at a neutral site once. This was the neutral site year.
If this had been a 'normal' Saturday, I think the attendance would have been much stronger.
I was wanting to go, but one of our 3 family Christmases was yesterday.
