One of the most idiotic comments I've ever read. You're either a UK troll or an embarrasment to the UofL fanbase.
Apologizing doesn't always mean you’re wrong and the other person is right. It means that you value your relationship more than your ego.
lol. I hate our fans so bad after a loss. I literally can not STAND it. Wooden candidate, HS all american, widely regarded as a top point guard.. makes one bad play at the end of a game and his supposed FANS call him terrible. Please go root for UK.
One fan called him terrible. Others are just being critical of him. Which he deserves.
Ok, so we lost to a good Syracuse team when we should have won. I truly believe we would win 8 or 9 times if we played them 10 times. But, we don't.
Siva 1 of 9
Behanan 3 of 8 (3 or 4 of his 5 misses were layups)
Dieng 1 of 5
13 of 20 FT shooting
Poor execution at the end - Russ Smith didn't even touch the ball - how does that happen when he is the only player in double digits scoring??
Reality - we're fine. Siva is a helluva point guard - wouldn't trade him for ANYONE currently playing his position. He has some mental block when it comes to Syracuse, but he'll be ok.
Still a very special season going and I promise you this won't be the only time this season we're ranked #1...mark it down.
thank you! That's the way I saw it.
Horrible play in the last minute. Dieng with the missed dunk, Harrell with the missed free throws, Siva with the turnover. Siva is a Senior, he should have stopped that driving to the basket with no where to go BS two years ago.
I bet we lead the country in missed dunks.
Losses in January aren't the end of the world. As long as they come back from it focused and don't fall into the same traps that cost us today. We're Still a top team in the nation. Today did not disprove that.
LOL! I think you may be right about leading the country in missed dunks. I made a comment on Facebook that if the 80's team was the Doctors of Dunk then Chane must have a Dunking Disease. I do love the big fella though. Just needs to get Harrell's mentality around the basket.
Idiotic post of the year.
I have always had a problem with CRP's substitution pattern and his offense. Both are lacking IMO.
GMAN316: Jameis Winston isn't Jeff Driskel and Jimbo Fisher isn't Mushchump. FSU wins easily.
It just wasn't an overall good team effort. Chane did some dumb things, gorgs couldn't make a dunk and trez missed crucial FTs. I love this team, but thank god for Russ's ability to take a game over, because Siva looked like a deer in headlights out there. That cant happen come tourney time....And how bout defense? Triche was money all night....then again, we were lucky to have only lost by 2 the way it was officiated. those guys should be ashamed of how the called this game.
In a city full of Bluenecks, I still bleed RED!!!
Foul Wayne??? Wtf picture proof.
I don't think Siva looked like a deer in the headlight, Syracuses size and stingy zone makes it tough for him to penetrate against but he did have some good looks from beyond the arc that he normally makes but didn't fall. It happens. We just didn't put up enough points in the end. We had 1 FG in the last 7:50 which was Chanes layup. 1 FG. We missed too much easy stuff inside. But to only have 1 FG and still have a shot to win it shows how good we are as a team.
i agree we are a very good team, but our senior leader gave the ball away when it counted. I love every player on the team, and im not bashing him at all but that made me question where his head was at this game because i have never seen siva not close out a game. or at least try. i understand a shooting slump, but there was no excuse for that turnover. once again, im not bashing. i think its fair to say that not having our senior leader show up really hurt us. russ cant do it all. i will give siva props for the assists and not committing stupid fouls he usually gets called for though.
Agreed Zz. Unfortunately, it was another big game where Siva folded up.
Our senior leader simply CANNOT play that poorly-period. That being said, look for more dribble penetration by him in the next game. That will open up the perimeter.
Rick didn't have his best of coaching games today. #1 teams win at HOME no matter what the f*ck the situation is.

You need to get rehab because only a drunk what say something that stupid.
Well said Otis.
We are having one of the best times as a UofL sports fan and some of our fans want it all.
It is ok to be mad but some are over the top.
It was a Freddie Brown pass, only the stakes weren't nearly as high, so in the whole scheme of things, Siva can learn from it and move on.
We choked. Plain and simple.
But, it doesn't really matter. Our only 2 losses are against top 10 teams, and we lost by a combined 7 points. We'll be fine in March. There's only one Syracuse, and they always lose to a good shooting team in the tourney.
My comments are always going to be about the difference between this team being one of the ten best and being THE best. They can totally suck on offense and still be top ten. But to win six straight in March instead of four, they will need more consistent scoring.
You know nothing about playing against the type of zone they use. It wasn't man to man so penetrating is a lot more difficult.
Granted that he shot horribly, but most of those shots were in the flow of the offense.
Granted that he made a terrible turnover at the end of the game, but his assist to turnover ratio for the game was 2/1.
Not a stellar game by any measure but far from "absolutely sucked'.
I know you dont care but the "dumbest last minute ever" is a bit of hyperbole doncha think?
I mean, I can think of two Syracuse losses that were farrrrrrrrrr worse.
Like when were were up 13 on Pitt with 2:30 left and lost . That was the dumbest last minute in a basketball game ever. I think we were still up 7 with 40 seconds left and lost by 4
Paul Harris then did it again when we lost to UMass in the NIT in 2007. We were up 22 with like 6 minute left. That was even worse, I can remember details because of the heavy drinking right after, but it was much worse than Siva making one bad pass and Gorgi fumbling what should have been an easy layin.
Remember when Duke won from down 10 in the last 50 seconds? Maryland was pretty fucking dumb fouling 3point shooters and turning it over.
Just a little perspective for you man......
kind of liking Louisville since those guys I parked near the Carrier Dome for the 1997 NCAAs gave me a bottle of Makers
That's one reason Cuse beat us yesterday and beat us twice last year. We had there number when we had more consistent scorers or i should say better outside shooters. In the past we have killed there zone but with a lack of outside shooting we have lost the last 3 to them.
