He finally discovered the mid-range J. He hits that with consistency and he'll be a NBA player. He hits that consistently and we'll play on Monday night.
I would love to see him start using the crab dribble like Samardo did. Chane is built perfect for it.
In RUSS we trust!
If Wayne and Chane can play like they did tonight on a consistent basis, and Russ, Kev, Siva, and Dieng just be themselves, I have no doubt in my mind we're champs.
Chane has been using the crab dribble all season, but up until recently he wasn't finishing. He is rounding into form and looks better each game.
It was nice seeing Chane and Trez out there together. Those two are monster rebounders. Add Gorgs back out there with those two quite the force with our guards. Ware is getting it now. Happy he's finally buying into pitinos system. Wayne had the jumper going which was nice to see. And he was going to the basket.
Hard to feel bad watching a performance like that tonight. It really makes you believe.

Chane has revamped his shooting stroke. It looks like a soft jumper with excellent form. I think this is why he is hitting more free throws recently as well.
In our first handful of games, Chane and Wayne were guys that stood out as being very talented but not producing like we knew they could. That isn't to throw them under the bus, and it wasn't a reason to panic in November and early December, but you knew that was a place to look for this team to greatly improve. Now they are looking like the McDonald's AA we signed. Chane just had a bit of a Sophomore Slump for a stretch and Wayne is rounding into form again after the surgeries.
