And Duke stays at #1? What the hell
The Top 25 (and one) will be updated on the college basketball page shortly. Here's how it will look ...
Jeff Goodman is all you have to say. He won't ever rank UL #1 just to suck his buddy Cals asshole.
to be fair, I think UK fans hate Goodman too
It's not the official AP or coaches poll. And honestly, lets be #1 in April.

Duke only lost their game because they had a couple of injuries. I mean, I know we lost because of an injury too... but we're not Duke.
I think we are better than Duke when healthy. They have better wins. They will get get first place votes. We will get more.
I really think there must be a lot of psychological carry over from football into basketball right now. I mean, do you all really care THIS much about a basketball poll? There are threads all over creation about it. I don't even know why they have rankings in basketball. They are totally useless.
Hell, I wish we were unranked all season just to piss the players off and motivate them, or at least ranked below Syracuse. The LAST thing I want is for a #1 ranking to take that chip off their shoulders.
I can't be the only one who thinks a #1 ranking in early January could just as easily be a bad thing.
it doesn't have to be either or...never understood people saying that....personally, I'd rather be number one pre-season, all through the year and at the end.
the downside of our future conference home.
seriously.... take the good. Deal with the issues if they come. Don't whine about success. Your whole not be ranked is stupid and shows poor logic on any scale because somehow you think oh yeah it benefits our players. The whole chip and piss players off is overated. It's about time you accept you have a good team they should be ranked and get rid of the chicken little mentality. No it's not a bad thing and nothing that can't be fixed. With winning come success yet you don't want them to be rewarded for it. Other teams have no problem being #1 and still winning. sheesh If they get a big head fine it will be deflated. They still wouldbe ranked HIGH NOT UNFREAKING RANKED WITH A STUPID CHIP on the shoulder. smh

They lost without R. Kelly. They shouldn't drop .
No team should drop if they lose a close game without a star player.
A simple question: is your butt jealous of the amount crap coming from your mouth?
Duke has a better body of work, very close though.
"Get on board, or get out the way"- Vance Bedford
these rankings are week to week.
Its not who was better 3 weeks ago or who will be better 3 weeks from now.
Its who is better now.
We are better than duke now. When duke beat us, they were better than us then (without Dieng). They are not better than us now.
this for sure. Throw in Gary Parrish as well. Both are UK fans and will not rank us #1 even if we cut the nets down.
I am sure RP will use this as motivation, if any is needed, for tonight
Good. This team will be a f*cking machine with a chip on its shoulder.
Talk about MOTIVATION!!!!! This should light a FIRE under their collective asses!
