Dunks. What are we shooting this season from DUNKS? Like 59%?
Beatles, Bill Withers, Citizen Cope, Jim James, Levon Helm, Lupe Fiasco, Waylon, Beastie Boys, Pink Floyd, Paul Westerberg, V-roys
But Chane can get more rebounds that way.
Aaaaahhhhh.....yes, I like that. Turn it into a positive! You are sneaky that way and I applaud you for it!
Free throw defense was solid again tonight....61%
Haha, yeah. Off the top of my head I can think of 10+.
Chane and Montrezl have both missed a few in emphatic fashion. SVT missed that monster down the lane. Gorgui has been hung on several gimmes. Russ was overly jacked and missed one early against UK.
Remember Lorrenzo Wade? He was the king of spectacular missed dunks in his brief Cards career.
What is really cool is that we can miss 3 dunks a game and still win by 15 points....
Luke missed one on Saturday.
Dunks aren't hard....I haven't missed one since 1994.
That's funny, I haven't either....!
Poor Chane gets blocked by the rim all the time. He also has been losing grip on a lot of balls on his way up. Makes me wonder is he has the same problems Ihad (back when I could BARELY dunk) his hands are too small and his vertical is just barely good enough to get him there. He is puzzling to watch at times thats for certain. If he doesnt have small hands its simply a lack of focus causing him to lose grip as often as he does. The vertical issue probably never changes at this point in life/basketball you would think he has discovered his max vert and it wont improve. We may have to name this team The Doctors of (sometimes) Dunk.
Watch some of Chanes dunk highlights, his vert is great, especially for a guy his height/weight. I think his hands just aren't that big and sometimes he will try to get fancy with a dunk and miss. Regardless of all that I'll take all of the other positive things he can do, even if he does miss a dunk or two.
Montrezl has missed at least 2 this season as well. It's just funny at this point, because I don't recall missing any dunks in our only loss of the season.
