Looking at some stats on Wayne, I noticed something interesting.
Blackshear's Free Throw Rate is 27.68%. This means that he shoots one free throw for, roughly, every four shots he takes. He draws approximately 1 shooting foul per 7-8 shots.
His Free Throw Rate per 2 point attempts only is 72.09%. Which means he draws close to 3 shooting fouls per 7-8 shots.
What this tells me is that he needs to get the ball closer to the basket more often. I don't think he should be in the post, but when he gets the ball 12' and in he is very likely to draw a foul.
The only other player on the team with a greater difference of free throw rate to FTR per 2 point attempts is Hancock (25.56% and 85.19%, respectively).
I know a lot of posters have stated that they want him to put the ball on the floor more and drive. Me, I'd like to see him post up some smaller guards more. He's strong, big, and could bully a guard.
I believe Wayne could "post up" more also. After all he weighs around 230 and seems to have good footwork.
I'd love to see him drive more but I think pitino wants him in the corner to shoot, when Wayne missed on a drive against seton hall pitino immediately yelled at him to stay in the corner and shoot.

I think the problem with having him post up is floor spacing. I do like the string side cut to the basket they have him doing. I also think keeping him in the corner to shoot has to do with spacing, and the fact that he can knock them down.
If we had to go with a line up like SVT and Trez at the 4, 5 then I would consider trying to post him up on a guard. I like the idea of letting him make a play from the elbow, especially when either chane or gorgui are out of the game.
I do like our game plan so far, just wanted to point out an advantage that I do not think we have utilized yet.
BTW, some of his free throws have come from grabbing offensive rebounds and getting fouled on the put back.
