After recent visits to Louisville, Butler and Kentucky, Trey Lyles announced Sunday night on Instagram he has cut his list to six finalists.
The list: Florida, Kentucky, Louisville, Butler, UCLA and Duke.
"The final 6, No order," Lyles said on Twitter.
A 6-10 2014 PF from Indianapolis (IN) Arsenal Tech, Lyles attended Louisville's win over Marquette last weekend and met with Rick Pitino before the game. Lyles father, Tom, told InsideTheVille.com the visit was, 'awesome.'
"It was great," Tom Lyles told InsideTheVille.com. "It was our first time being to a Louisville game. It was spectacular. We had a great time. It was a great atmosphere; a great game. We really like the coaching staff there at Louisville. Coach Pitino and his crew are top notch."
Having just visited Butler, Louisville and Kentucky, Lyles plans to visit UCLA, Florida and Duke during the offseason.
"We're [also] going to Duke, Florida and UCLA, but those will be things we do after the season because we don't want to be in a rush," Lyles said.
Lyles told the Indianapolis Star he doesn't plan to announce his college until after his senior season.
